Our French member, Snefcca, in partnership with WorldSkills France, is launching a fundraising campaign to promote the refrigeration and air conditioning technicians by supporting the Technical Refrigeration" competition.
The competition:
The work of a refrigeration and air conditioning professional is a demanding discipline that requires specific skills for the implementation of advanced installations. As an essential profession with multiple applications (health, food, industry, comfort, etc.), it is part of the WorldSkills competition, a global competition organised every two years which brings together 85 countries.
The competition has three levels. After a first round of selections organised by the Regions, the gold medalists represent their region in the national competition. At the end of the competition, the first prize moves on to new adventures at international level while the second prize goes to the European competition.
In 2024, the world final of the 47th edition will be held in Lyon. An event that will allow young professionals from all over the world, national champions of their profession, to compete against each other in front of thousands of visitors. A unique opportunity for competitors to give a fair, lively and dynamic image of their profession.
