AREA supports the first World Refrigeration Day on the anniversary of Lord Kelvin’s birth on 26th June. Such a celebration is an acknowledgment of the societal contribution of refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps, whether related to health, food or comfort. Refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump contractors represented by AREA are proud to play their part to achieve such noble purposes.
AREA is a unique association. We are the first European association of RACHP contractors and we act as an example globally of how different national organisations can work together for the better good of the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps sector which we will celebrate on the 26th of June. Our strength lies in our numbers: 26 independent associations in 22 countries from the EU and beyond, representing 125.000 small and medium size enterprises, whose activities make up a core part of the EU economy and are vital for its success.
